hey guys! so sorry for the non-updatage, ive been working on my kickboxing skills like mad as of late. life is pretty much the same: full of excitement, adventure, and explosives.
wednesday = hefty blindside concert with mikey. good times.
this weekend me ben mikey and kurt are going camping. its gonna be pimp. i have a feeling we will be doing lots of stuff to kurt in the wee hours of the mornin, however. oh man. definately bringing the camara. bwahahha.
after that, the florida peoples are coming up and we're gonna party hardy. then its up to the northern lands of up north, to lake mish, for a week. yay! comrades! |

k, so this isnt my idea, i saw it in my buddy's blog at http://www.johnhoey.net/blog, but i want peeps to put this in their entries/comments...
Zach's Ultimate Band Hybrid
Songwriting: Jim Adkins (Jimmy Eat World) Justin Pierre (Motion City Soundtrack)
 
Why?: Jim is an awesome songwriter, he is able to write about stuff we can all relate to, and he is a lyrical genious when it comes to songwriting....Justin is sweet at rhythm and metaphors and is able to just make stuff flow really well in his songs.
Vocals: Bert McCracken (The Used) and Aaron Gillespie (Underoath)
 
Why?: Ok, Bert is just awesome in my eyes cuz he can hit stuff and just make it sound really hardcore, but he can also sing soft and make it sound really sweet. He would def be the higher, harder, screaming-style type. Justin Pierre would have been awesome cuz i really like his voice alot and he can sing REALLY well, but for this style of music i just dont think he would fit, so he gets to write everyones songs and stuff. Aaron Gillespie has a great voice, although he might not be able to hit all the same notes, he is able the softer parts of songs without putting quit as much hardcore-edness in it. Mark Hoppus and Mike Herrera are definately in the background vocal category, but not in the main vocals sect.
Guitar: Teppei Teranishi (Thrice), Quinn Allman (The Used), Frank Iero (My Chemical Romance)
  
Why?: Teppei is definately the best guitarist i can name. There is no way that this guy can play the stuff he plays without being massively ADHD. he is amazing at coming up with complex riffs and fills. Quinn Allman has a style that would be really compatible in my mind, even though he cant play ADHD style, he can come up with main riffs and melodies. Frankie is just amazing at improvising and is able to play really complex riffs + harmonies, plus hes a great background screamer....
Bass Guitar: Matt Rubano (Taking Back Sunday)
Why?: This guy totally uses scales to his advantage and pulls really cool fills and rhythms.
Piano/Synth: Jesse Johnson (Motion City Soundtrack)
Why?:I know, i know, ur either thinking one of two things: "Dude, u NEED to stop eating!" or "Hmm, piano in a band like this? could work....just needs to have that old sound to it that puts u on hte edge of ur seat anticipating the post-intro distortion, or it makes u sigh with bliss as it wraps up the end of the song...."....i pick jesse cuz he can totally make his style work for this kind of band, and even play along in the choruses and add effects to the verses. He knows his effects.
Drums: Ok, we already got the sweet drummer/singer Aaron Gillespie, but i felt like giving him a break. The catch is, its a decision between two drummers: Travis Barker (Blink-182) and Riley Breckenridge (Thrice).
 
Why?: K, Travis has always been able to pull off amazing fills and keeps the flow of the song....flowing...but Riley is AMAZINGLY fast and i think he would be able keep the hardcore-edness down...he would be really compatible with Teppei too. I still dont know tho. If it came down to it i think i would pick Travis.

ok, so i just got back from the motion city soundtrack concert last night.....it was AWESOME! the thing is, crap kept goin wrong with their instruments, but they still sounded so good and put on a great show. it was insane, cuz it was physically impossible for everyone in the room to stand up straight, so it was a constant mosh pit....and everyone breathing really hard made the air really thick and stuffy. it was so friggin hot, ive never been so sweaty in my life, and a lot of it is sweat from other people rubbing onto you. i passed out in the middle of the mosh pit, i just remember standing then all of hte sudden like laying on some kid, but i was still kinda standing....so i got out and got some water...but then they started playing hte future freaks me out and i ran back in. in all seriousness, MCS has moved up to one of my top 5 favorite bands as of thursday night.
the place we stayed at was awesome, it was brenda's older sisters house. she had a kid named jonah, who was 3 years old and really cool...except he kept taking my money. i was playing with him and some pennies fell out of my pocket and he went 'ooo look! my pennies!' and he grabbed them and ran up to his room. he kept stealing my spare change, but it was funny.

dude, i was having an awesome day yesterday, but toward the end it really just got ruined...and since i have been having a terrible time. At work, youth group, work today..ugh....u know..i really am glad school is out, cuz there are certain things i just cant deal with anymore and now i wont have to ever again, or see hte people involved any more. pray for me guys. im hurtin.

Hey all. I am home right now at 11 am on a Wednesday morning. Why, you ask? Well, to be honest, i was making people black out at school due to my superhuman mutant powers.
No, not really. I just knew how to make someone pass out, and i had done it to one guy before like awhile ago, and it came up and we tried to do it to a cuople of people, and it worked, but the information leaked out, and parents got SUPER pissed, and the headmaster man suspended me because he felt that i needed to be an example. Ok, ok, im not gonna complain, i deserve it. I just need to make sure i pass American Literature, or else i dont graduate. I really need to pray that i can pass. I really NEED to graduate. Therefore, i am asking for the help of my friends, aka, u people. If im ever online, just ask me if i have homework, if i do, then tell me to get off the friggin net and go homework it. THANKS guys.

So for the last couple days my daydreams have officially collapsed upon themselves. I have been having hte most retarded thoughts lately, and concern for the public at large prevents me from going into detail, except to say that they involved chickens, cyborgs, chicken cyborgs, bread, Wild Animal Fight Club, marbles, and other items that involve highly flamable content. Seriously, today i spent all of 4th hour contemplating who hte victor would be between a 6-foot long scorpian or a Silverback gorilla with a lightsaber. Ugh. im a dork. Am i the only one whos imagination seems to be malfunctioning?

As part of hte countdown for Episode 3, i will be quoting a line from one of the movies every entry until May 19. Star wars is definately the coolest thing around, i seriously wish i was a jedi. think of the things you could do with a lightsaber! Running around hunting Sith all day, and haveing Lightsaber duels with them! Force wedgies! MM, the possibilities....
Being a Bounty Hunter would be pretty pimpin' tho too. Goin around shooting stuff with ur gun....like 'YAH! A WARF-RAT! KILL!' or 'LOOK OUT FOR THE MYNOCK!' and then PTOW PTOW and its gone! everyone would be kinda afraid of you too, cuz u had all these scars from fighting the various quarries u have captures. Boba Fett is crap, he totally ganked his outfit what i was planning on being, but then again he does his job well.
Then again, being a smuggler WOULD be sweet. 'Hey hun, im going to go on a Kessel Run, ill try to make it back in less than 12 parsecs!' Is it wrong to make a living selling illegal substances to innocent bystanders while dodging the law-enforcing tyrannical empire that despises your career? No, i think not.
Can i just mix all this crap together? Become a Smuggling Bounty Hunter with force skills? My official title would be, 'Shi Tokea, Jedi Master, Bounty Hunter, and a pretty darn good smuggler too.'
Enough about star wars. im a nerd. Yesterday at work i got to drive a Corvette! The temptation was so strong to take it for a spin...but i overpowered with with my mutated superhuman concience. I found out one of my co-workers was in prison for 12 years, for armed robbery. He was telling me stories about what he used to do. He was a really cool guy tho.
So today i got a letter in the mail from one of the girls i met while in Italy. Federica sent me a picture too, and shes gorgeous! Its hard to read the letter, cuz she has wierd grammer, and she writes her n's and m's upside down, cuz i guess thats how they write them over there. Its really cool, im going to her as soon as i get off my butt. Which wont be anytime soon.
So, about college. I was talking to my friend Halston today, and she asked me what i was gonna do. I said that i was prolly gonna go to OCC and get some core classes down, but after that i would go to Kettering for Computer Engineering. The thing is, these last two weeks ive really felt like God has been wanting me to go after my dreams, and do something with the gifts hes given me....which means art. I've always loved drawing but never taken it seriously as a career, and i really thinking about what i should do in the future with it...so im praying about it. U guys should pray too....ill need it. Im just gonna wait on God right now.

hey guys. sorry for the un-updates, i have been in europe for hte past two weeks. i went thru france, italy, and greece, and hit a couple countries on hte way thru. i got some stuff for my fam, ben, kurt, mikey, and emma...it was awesome i got everyone something thats totally 'them'. anyway i realized im low on cash, with only $15 left in my bank account...ouch. i need to work more. anyway, life is kinda good, D'Amico's pissing me off, fighting with some of my best friends, but everything is gonna work out. pray for sun. pray for answers.

So today i got really pissed cuz i had 31 popups on my computer when i got on....and so i was attempting to delete files from my hard drive so i didnt have these friggin things and i found an old file called 'zach'. Hmm...*enter the curious mind*...
dang boy! some of this stuff is like 4 years old! Many an item was interesting and laughable. I found chat conversations saved from when my sn was just 'Zach Fifelski'...holy crap was i a fag. I found some old papers i wrote, which sucked, i wonder how i didnt fail my years at school. i found old games i used to play, like The Dark Hand (a star wars game...i started playing again lol). i found old pics of girls i used to like, even a love letter to someone. the funny thing is i barely remember the girl its to. i found an old file of my band back when i was in one, and some other old bands. i found lyrics to a song that sucked, a five year old could make a more interesting piece.
anyway im having fun. i havent even looked inside everything yet. |

hello
dude i have been so tired as of late. i dont know why i havent updated. who knows. anyway...last couple days in a nutshell.
Friday: School and B-ball game. We win, i score, then i went out to eat with perry josh and charlie. fun times.
Saturday: uh....boring. work and nothing.
Sunday: Church. Superbowl. Kinda boring cuz there werent that many guys there, joe and josh and the ryans were fun tho, but then they left....mikey was there for like two minutes. The commercials werent that great, but all hte old people around me kept laughing their old faces off, (we watched it on the 80-inch at church)...then kurt got there and we partied with the sack o' hack. ohhh yea.
Monday: retarded old school. B-ball game. We win, awesome awesome game. Hang out at bens with charlie perry and josh.
Tuesday: Booooooooring.
